Insure Against Earthquakes is a free public information hub intended to promote financial preparedness among residents of earthquake-prone areas by sharing tips and information, directing people to reliable content on the internet, and encouraging homeowners and renters to consider purchasing earthquake insurance. This site was developed by the Cascadia Region Earthquake Workgroup (CREW), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit coalition of private, public, and academic partners working together to improve the ability of communities, businesses, and households to reduce the effects of earthquakes and related hazards. Funding for the Insure Against Earthquakes project was provided by the National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program. Neither CREW nor this website is sponsored or funded by any insurance-industry entity.

This site is hosted by the Cascadia Region Earthquake Workgroup (CREW) with support from the National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program.
